The sayings of Jesus will always have a greater impact on us the longer we study them. They take a lifetime to understand and apply. This is why Adult Education at Eden Church is so passionate about our task! The groups provide opportunities to connect, discover and grow together. We offer a wide range of sessions from being men of faith to parenting to prayer, or Bible verses while sharing a meal together. Sunday morning and evening, and weekday and evening groups are available. Please contact the church office for more information and a listing of current classes.

Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study (Adult Bible Study 1):
BIBLE STUDY BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19: by Chip Ingram
The apostle Paul wrote a letter to Titus to encourage his brother in the faith whom he had left in Crete to lead the church which Paul had established. Our class will examine the Book of Titus through the Right Now Media curriculum by Chip Ingram. We will be challenged to display the gospel in our lives through doing good. We do good works not to earn God’s favor but as a result of God’s favor. When the gospel has truly taken root in our lives, it produces the fruit of godliness. As we pass these things on to future generations, the Church stands in bright contrast to the darkness of the world.
This class meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Classroom B/C.
Wednesday Evening Ladies Bible Study (Adult Bible Study 2):
Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado
Over the past few decades, studies have shown that Americans are the most anxious people in the world. We take the most medication for it, see doctors to treat it, and spend fortunes trying to relieve it. How have we let our fears get the better of us? In Anxious for Nothing, Max Lucado leads readers to reflect on the promises of Philippians 4:4-8. This passage from Paul’s epistle contains an antidote to anxiety that will help you develop a mindset of resilience. Rediscover the power of prayer and take control of your thoughts. You can rest in “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.”
This class meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Lounge.
Friday Afternoon Ladies Bible Study:
THE BOOK OF RUTH will be studied on Fridays during the month of February. God can seem distant when dreams fade, people die, or careers fail. It may feel like He slammed the door in your face and walked out for good. No one knows the feeling of abandonment more than Ruth and Naomi. Their story begins with the worst - death, famine and poverty. And God remains silent. But the book of Ruth doesn’t end with despair. It brims with hope because God works on behalf of the two widows in ways they least expect. See how God also moves behind the scenes in our lives!
